When experiencing infertility, most couples will seek out the professional assistance of a physician who specializes in fertility issues. These doctors have a wide range of treatments available for their patients, including in-vitro fertilization, certain surgical procedures, electroejaculation, sperm retrieval and ovulation induction.

In-vitro fertilization involves a process where a women¡¯s egg production is stimulated. Then surgery is undergone to remove multiple eggs from the ovaries, and the eggs are then fertilized with semen in a test tube.
